Bracebridge and Gravenhurst are twenty minutes apart on Highway 11, which makes them an easy pair for a spring weekend of waterfalls, boats and small museums. This plan keeps the driving short and leaves room for a slow lunch or two.
- Day 1 — BracebridgeSee Bracebridge Falls from public viewpoints by the Silver Bridge, then browse Manitoba Street’s shops and cafés. If visiting Wilson’s Falls separately, follow the town’s trail directions and stay back from fast spring water.
- Day 2 — GravenhurstExplore the Muskoka Wharf and check opening hours at the Muskoka Discovery Centre. Book a steamship cruise only if sailings have begun. Bethune Memorial House is another seasonal stop; confirm its dates before travelling.
