Lion's Lookout
The classic view over Fairy Lake and downtown Huntsville, reached on a short climb from town.
Lion's Lookout sits on a granite ridge above Huntsville, looking out across Fairy Lake, the Muskoka River and the town. A trail of roughly a kilometre and a half climbs up from the edge of downtown, and the view is a favourite at sunset and in autumn colour. In winter, snowshoes make the walk up a local tradition.
