High Falls
A wide cascade on the Muskoka River's north branch, minutes from downtown Bracebridge.
High Falls is one of Muskoka's most photographed waterfalls, a broad tumble of water over granite just north of Bracebridge, close to Highway 11. A short trail follows the river alongside the falls, and the spot is at its most powerful during spring runoff. Stay well back from the edge, as rocks are slippery year-round.
