The Town of Gravenhurst's holiday kickoff on the Muskoka Wharf runs from 5 to 7 p.m. in Cockburn Square. Expect the community tree lighting, shopping specials, a photo booth, interactive story time, the Candy Cane Gals Fire 'n Glow Show and fireworks. It falls on the same day as the Gravenhurst Santa Claus Parade (11 a.m.) and the Experience Muskoka Christmas Market next door at the Muskoka Discovery Centre, so it is easy to make a full day of it.
